The products to note are the entry level LET'S EDIT system offering exceptional value for money, the versatile DVStorm2 video edit system which has received excellent reviews and the DV Procoder which is a transcoder for video and audio in any format and PAL/NTSC/PAL conversion, an essential tool for any professional. This amazing package will convert any source DV, AVI, Video for Windows, QuickTime, MPEG1, MPEG2, NTSC, PAL, any audio, any standard to any other . It will also seamlessly stitch dissimilar video/audio clips ie. AVI, MPEG2 etc to make a single output file in any selected format, perfectly.
The new IMAGINATE software allows the creative editor to create moving video clips from stills with perspective, distortion and many imaginative effects. A must for the editor who thought he had everything. It is a virtual rostrum camera.
Another new tool for video producers who use multi-camera shoots is United Media MultiCam. This software package enables offline cutting from 2 to 4 digitised camera tapes, each showing in a window on the computer monitor. The editor can cut between any of the camera views, perfectly in synch to produce a single digital image on disk which can be imported into Premiere for graphics, transition and filter insertion
